YAJNASHALA

There is an octagonal shaped YAJNASHALA inside the temple premises, where YAJNA could be performed on a regular basis to keep the atmosphere clean and enchanted with spiritual mantras.

From the early Vedic times, Yajna has been a part of an individual or social ritual. The hymns sung and oblations offered into the divine fire were a form of welcome towards the deities. The offerings were believed to be carried by Agni to the gods; the gods in return were expected to grant boons and blessings.
